How does the House system work at Berkhamsted Boys?

The Senior School house system provides pastoral support and academic guidance for every pupil. The Houses, are made up of pupils from different year groups, and are the centre of School life, giving a sense of belonging and encouraging self-confidence. Senior boys take leadership roles within their Houses and the Boys’ School.

The Head of House and House Tutors, take responsibility for each boy’s social and academic development and the Head of House is the main channel of communication between home and School.

Termly inter-House competitions offer fun opportunities for teamwork.
