Is Chapel compulsory for all students?

Every student in the senior school and sixth form attends a weekly Chapel service. The service consists of a Bible reading, a hymn and a short talk discussing and exploring the themes in the reading. Whilst the talk or presentation is based on Christian teaching, the topics addressed are relevant to people of any or no faith. We close the service with words of prayer but this is alternatively an opportunity for contemplation or reflection on the words and ideas explored that morning.
